A Lakota woman, Red Fawn, has been framed by DAPL police and has become Standing Rock’s only long-term political prisoner.
Red Fawn is a medic who was helping fellow Water Protectors assaulted by police at Standing Rock, when she was suddenly arrested.
Authorities claim that she attempted to kill police by shooting a firearm at them even though she was pinned face down by two officers, while a third had his weapon pointed at her back.
Worse yet, the media narrative surrounding this case has spread misinformation…
Many believe that her charges have been dropped. That is not the case!
Red Fawn is currently being tried for a federal weapons charge. She is being held in a Federal prison without bail, her attempted murder charge has not been permanently dismissed and it can be pursued at a later date.
